Hey there! Name's Omar Al Fil. I used to blog about Beirut's local alternative music scene back in the day, but eventually broadened the scope of my writings to include arts and culture in general, and abandoned blogging in favor of contributing to different media publications.
Now I'm returning to my blogging roots, except I will be incorporating that "broader scope" I mentioned. Expect thoughts and musings on whatever interests or infuriates me within Lebanon (and maybe even outside it), whether it's music, art, television or beyond. I've also got a background in illustration and graphic design and making music myself , so some content of that type could factor in at some point, who knows...
If keepin' it real is the act of staying true to oneself, then Keepin' It Pheel is as true to myself as I could possibly stay... Plus, it's a cool pun.
